Primary Objective
Support Workpay's Insurance Benefits lead in growing and servicing the insurance portfolio. Managing quotations, client documentation, onboarding coordination, and country-specific client queries with a commercial mindset that helps clients understand the value of what we offer, not just the mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for sales reps' benefits queries via Slack/email; explain what's mandatory vs. optional/recommended by country.
- Step in on client calls when the Benefits lead is unavailable communicate product value with a commercial, not purely informational, tone.
- Collect employee bio data in the country specific format required for accurate quotations
- Request, review and analyze partner quotations ;flag discrepancies, summarize when comparing multiple providers.
- Prepare, issue and follow up on quotations, proposals and client documentation.
- Process invoicing on client confirmation; hand over confirmed deals for onboarding.
- Support onboarding coordination and policy activation, backing up Operations when needed.
- Maintain CRM, sales trackers and insurance dashboards, including proactive follow-up on deals not closing in the current cycle
- Respond promptly to client and internal stakeholder inquiries.
Success Metrics & KPIs
- Accuracy and turnaround time on quotation prep and analysis
- CRM/dashboard data accuracy, including timely follow-up on open/rolling deals
- Prompt response to client and internal inquiries
- Smooth handover to onboarding/Operations
- Client satisfaction through the sales to onboarding journey
Basic Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Insurance, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Recent graduates with relevant internships may also be considered.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, account coordination, or administrative roles.
- Experience in B2B sales support is an added advantage.
- Experience in the insurance, HR, payroll, or SaaS industry is desirable but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare quotations, proposals and sales documentation.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records.
